Situated at the southern tip of Africa; South Africa is a land of many contrasts from towering snow covered mountains and dense forests to vast stretches of desert; the country is home to many different species of wildlife and plants.

There are many things to see and do in South Africa; visit the Addo Elephant National Park where they have one of the largest populations of elephants in the world, they also have lions, buffalo, leopard and rhino plus southern right whales and great white sharks. The park has many activities on offer including hiking trails, which last for two days, 4x4 trails over the Zuurberg Mountains, plus fishing and bird watching. 

Visit Cape Town and take a trip up Table mountain, the main feature of the mountain is the flat top which visitors can hike up or take the cable car to the top; the mountain is also part of the Table Mountain National Park.  South Africa has over 3000km of coastline, which have stunning beaches, golf resorts, top hotels and fishing communities.  There are also many shopping opportunities from large shopping centres to small boutiques and flea markets.

The climate in South Africa is generally sunny and warm, the summer months last from December to April and the winter months from May to November, which are mild.
