Ski Dubai
Ski Dubai is the first indoor skiing arena in the Middle East with 22,500 square metres covered with real snow all year round. During the day the temperature is around -1°C and at night -6°C when the snow is produced. There are 5 ski slopes ranging in difficulty and also a freestyle zone where skiers and snowboarders can practice their stunts; winter clothes skis and snowboards are also available for hire. The whole area is around the same size as 3 football fields and there are also restaurants and cafes.

Wild Wadi Waterpark
Wild Wadi is an amusement water park situated in Jumeirah close to the Burj al Arab hotel and the Jumeirah beach hotel. The water park is outdoors with water slides, surfing machine, a heated and cooled wave pool and family water rides. The park stretches over 12 acres and has many features and amenities including a 59ft waterfall going off every ten minutes as well as two gift shops, snack bars and three restaurants.

There are over 24 adrenaline fuelled water rides and slides including the Jumeirah Sceirah which is the tallest and fastest free fall water slide outside of North America, standing at 110 ft and reaching speeds of 50 mph. There are 8 Master Blaster water slides in the park and described as uphill roller coasters where visitors sit on a single or double ring and are propelled uphill by water jets. There are 7 ring rides that are downhill gravity slides where visitors slide to the bottom at high speed.

There are many other rides in the park worth exploring and visiting the water park is a great way to get out of the heat and bustle of the city.
