Seychelles overview

The Seychelles is a tropical cluster of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean off the coast of East Africa. The islands are most famous of all the Indian Ocean islands for its Créole cuisine and the sombre moutia, the typical dance of the Seychelles.

Enjoy your holiday more by doing activities in and around the islands, or visiting attractions. Relax and have a game of golf or go on a glass bottom boat. The most popular proving to be Teddy’s Glass Bottom Boat where after an afternoon of exploring and snorkelling, there is a feast awaiting you on the beach! There is also a wide range of walks and guide tours where you can see all the rare beautiful flora and fauna.

Relax in the evening with a meal and a glass of Seybrew, a German style lager made on the island. Seychellois Creoles cuisine is influenced by African, Chinese, French, English and Indian traditions. End the day with a dance at one of the few nightclubs or stay at your hotel where a barbecue and dinner dance will most likely be held. There is a cinema in Victoria and casino’s at Bea Vallon Bay Hotel and the Plantation Club.
