Egypt

Egypt is situated in the regions of Africa and the Middle East and is well known for both its fantastic history as well as its modern high culture, it is a popular tourist destination and has one of the world's oldest civilisations dating back 3,100 years. Egypt is one of the oldest holiday spots with early Greeks and Romans visiting to view the wonders of some of mankind's earliest triumphs. The official language in Egypt is Arabic but English and French is widely understood.

There are many historical sights and museums to visit while in Egypt and no trip would be complete without seeing the Pyramids and ancient temples. Whether visiting during the day or at night the views of the Pyramids and surrounding desert landscapes are spectacular. Egypt is truly a cultural experience like no other!

Egypt has much more to offer than history alone, there are plenty of things to do from Red Sea scuba diving to a night at the Grand Opera. The climate in Egypt is arid and receives around a centimetre of rain per year, there are only two seasons summer and winter, the summer months are from May to October and are hot with low humidity and the winter months are from November to April and are mild, dry and sunny.
