1. London to Edmonton:
Your door-to-door pick-up driver chauffeurs you to London Heathrow ready for your non-stop Air Canada flight to Edmonton. On arrival, unpack at the Coast Edmonton Plaza for two nights.
2. Edmonton:
Perched above the North Saskatchewan River, Edmonton is Alberta’s provincial capital – discover its appeal on a morning tour. Later, an optional visit to Fort Edmonton Park provides the chance to find out about life in the fort of 1846; alternatively, spend the afternoon at leisure.
3. Edmonton and Jasper:
Don’t pass up the opportunity to browse West Edmonton Mall, a major attraction that’s more than just a shopping centre, during your free morning. A change of scene marks the afternoon, with a drive to Jasper for your first two nights in the Rockies: the Jasper Inn welcomes you. This hotel is not air conditioned.
4. Jasper National Park:
Explore Jasper National Park on a river-raft during today’s optional trip, which also includes a stop at Maligne Lake, or do as you please with a day to yourself.
5. Jasper, Icefields Parkway and Lake Louise:
A scenic treat today, with a drive along the Icefields Parkway to Lake Louise. Stopping off at the Athabasca Glacier on the way, you could take an optional Ice Explorer ride. Round off the day with a night at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, the hotel on the shores of the lake.
6. Lake Louise and Banff:
You’ve a leisurely morning amongst the views at Lake Louise before following the Bow Valley to Banff, accompanied by more breathtaking scenery. Settle in for a two-night stay at the Central Mount Royal Hotel.
7. Banff and Yoho national parks or Banff:
Take in the highlights of Banff and Yoho national parks on a full day optional tour, including Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake and the Spiral Tunnels, or spend the day as you wish in Banff.
8. Banff and Calgary:
After starting the day at your own pace with the morning to yourself, travel to Calgary this afternoon. The Delta Bow Valley is your home in the Stampede City for the next two nights.
9. Calgary:
Get to know this cowboy town on a morning tour, including a visit to the Canada Olympic Park. Explore for yourself this afternoon. This evening, enjoy the optional farewell dinner up the Calgary Tower, with stunning views over the city.
10. Calgary and flight home:
Your last morning in Canada – there’s time to fit in a final bit of shopping or sightseeing. Later, head to the airport for your non stop, overnight Air Canada flight back to the UK.
11. London Heathrow:
Landing this morning, you’ll be driven home by our pick-up service.
