Sydney overview

Sydney is one of the most beautiful and liveliest cities in the world, with its historic associations and globally influential culture, fashion and cuisine it's no wonder it is the most popular city in Australia.  The city is home to many spectacular architectural designs including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.

Sydney is a multi cultural city and this reflects in the food, there are many top class restaurants influenced from cities around the world and especially Asia; there is also modern Australian restaurants that blend fresh ingredients with European and Asian styles.  There are also many restaurants specialise in everything from Tibetan to African, and Russian to American.
Sydney’s biggest and most popular nightclubs are in Darling Harbour with a different variety of music.

Sydney’s climate is sub tropical and there are two seasons: hot and humid during the summer months and cooler during winter.  There are over 300 days of sunshine per year and the best time to visit is during March and April when the days are warm and nights are mild.
